Hedge and Turf Farm is a horse boarding and riding equestrian facility. Conveniently located near Charlotte, Ballantyne, and Waxhaw North Carolina. We specialize in horse boarding, training, and lessons. We offer local and international horse sales in Warm-bloods, Thoroughbreds, and Ponies.
For beginner to advanced riders, our focus is training the horse and rider for the best riding and handling experience. We are locally and nationally known for our excellence and success with Hunter, Jumper, horses and ponies. Our professional staff is committed to teaching horsemanship, horse management, and horse care to adults and children who are interested in a quality equine learning experience. Our training focuses on safety, responsibility, sportsmanship, positive reinforcement, success, and fun!
Riding Lessons
We offer lessons for people of all ages, from beginners to advanced, in Hunters / Jumpers. Our lesson programs can be geared towards competitive riding or personal growth. We have lesson horses available for riders at all levels for use in lessons or to lease.

Farrier Care
Our farrier Josh Yandle specializes in equine hoof care, including the trimming and balancing of hooves and shoes.
Our farriers combine some blacksmith's skills; (fabricating, adapting, and adjusting metal shoes.) With some veterinarian's skills; (knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the lower limbs,) for more complete equine hoof care. We choose our farrier's based on their exceptional level of experience and quality of work.
Veterinarian Care
Dr. Leslie Kinnin, DVM
Leslie is from Charlotte, NC and currently lives in Waxhaw, NC. Leslie developed a deep love of horses from an early age, inspiring both her riding and veterinary careers. Still active in the hunter/humper circuit, Leslie has a unique understanding and interest in all things lameness and performance. After graduating from NC State Veterinary School in 2014, Leslie completed a large animal surgical internship at the University of Georgia. After two years as an associate in private practice, Leslie opened Stony Hill Equine in 2017.

State Of The Art Facilities
H&T Farm is located on a picturesque 28 acre facility in Waxhaw, NC. in the heart of beautiful Horse County.
Our farm offers
* A beautiful clubroom with a full kitchen,
which is always at your disposal.
* Private lavatory with changing and shower facilities.
* An exceptional 250' X 150' outdoor arena with synthetic footing. Our all-weather footing is ridable even after extreme weather conditions, allowing us to ride almost 365 days a year.
* Peace of mind. We have two Stablemen, property custodians, and Barn Manager, all who live on the property.

* 26 maintained paddocks.
* 28 12' X 12' matted stalls.
* 16' wide matted aisles.
* Tack room
* Laundry Room with convenient individual storage
shelving for each border.
* 4 Indoor wash stalls with hot and cold water.
* 2 outdoor wash stalls, giving plenty of room for grooming an tacking.
